Product Details

Composition

It is made of resin, curing agent, pigment, filler and additives through melting, extruding, grinding and processing

Main features

This product contains no lead (Pb), chromium (Cr), barium (Ba), cadmium (Cd), arsenic (As), antimony (Sb), mercury (Hg), selenium (Se) and ions which is harmful to human body.

Application

It is applicable to the painting of micro-wave ovens, soot absorbers, cupboards, cookers, refrigerators, freezers, drinking water machines, washing machines, water heaters, medical equipment, furniture, appliance, toys, office suppliers, outdoor metal tools and decorations of gardens.

Product series

It can be made into common powder with various gloss and colors, art powder and power coating with metal effect.

Surface treatment

The corresponding treatment methods should be used according to different basis materials, such as phosphating, chromizing, shot blasting or sand blasting

1. After treatment of shot blasting or sand blasting, the surface should reach Grade Sa 2.5 and the surface roughness is 30 ~75 μm.

2. Phosphating: degreasing- derusting- neutralizing-surface control- phosphating- passivating

Appearance of phosphating film: The crystals on phosphating film should be compact, which shall be mixed continuously and uniformly.

3. Chromizing: degreasing- rinsing- immersion cleaning- deoxidating- rinsing- chromizing

Method of usage

It is applicable to high voltage static spraying and coating

Spraying and coating voltage: 50-90 kV; air pressure for spraying and coating: 0.1-0.2 Mpa; the distance between spray gun and work piece: 200-300 mm

Curing condition: 180-200℃/10-15 minutes, other curing conditions can be provided according to requirements of clients.

Repairing: Take different measures according to practical conditions: 1. If the requirements are not high, same color paint can be used for repairing; 2. In case of high requirements, the sand paper should be used for polishing missing points and coating the whole surface prior to the entire spraying, coating and curing.

Safety measures

The dusts should be avoided when using the powder coating regardless of the non-toxic features. Operators should wear suitable dedust masks and glasses. If possible, the skin should be avoided from touching powder coating for a long time and the coating on skin should be cleaned with soap.

Storage period

It should be stored in dry and well ventilated areas under 30℃ rather than exposed to direct sunshine; the service life lasts for18 months and products should be inspected again if exceeding the period above. The products exceeding the period above can be still used as long as they meet the requirements.

Notes:

1. The surface under coating should be clean, and free from water, acid, alkali or oil;

2. All tools for construction should be dry and clean;

3. The powder coating should be used in one kind or one category and it is not allowed to be used by mixing with the coating of other categories;

4. The curing condition should meet regulations; otherwise, the film cannot meet requirements. The temperature for curing refers to practical temperature of work piece and the time refers to that for heat preservation after the work piece reaches regulated temperature; and

5. The construction site should be well ventilated and necessary protective articles should be needed.
